I came here a couple of times last week cause a friend suggested it. The food was good but it took a little long to arrive. The girls were very nice and patient with me which I appreciated. The vibe was really homie, will keep coming.

Nice little Vietnamese restaurant with such delicious food! Portion sizes were great and for the main dishes, you can choose to have it between jasmine rice not noodles. I have to say my favorite thing in all the dishes we ordered was the fish sauce! 10/10 highly recommend this place if you’re ever in the SE area!!

A place quite local to me, this place has blown me away, knowing that this is the first time I had Vietnamese food My favourites were the bun tom xao and the pho tai. The pho tai executed the flavouring of the soup and beef exquisitely. The noodles were well cooked and beef was extravagant The bun tom xao was my absolute personal favourite that brought a lot of flavours and textures together. The noodles and sauce slip down your throat and I loved the chewy and crunchy textures from the vegetables to the crushed nuts. It kinda reminds me of the Korean bibimbap dish in some way Quite safe to say, I’m very pleased with my experience here with Vietnamese food. I must come back here to have eventually. If you’re looking for good Viet food in Deptford, this is worth the money to try with fair prices on their dishes

Food was amazing! The pho was one of the best I had so far.. 2 mains for 24 is also a great deal! They offer medium and large portions of pho.. the medium is 12 and is abundant and delicious. The large one is definitely for sharing! It’s huge!! I recommend coming for the phos and sharing a couple of them on a cold day. Tiny restaurant with few seats but a great service and really efficient. Many people work in the kitchen, highlighting the food is authentic and well prepared. Only negative note for me was the music.. it would have been nice to either have something more carefully selected.

Update a month later: They have changed the broth and I'm disappointed, now the soup lacks depth and barely had any of those aromatics I mentioned before. Pho: Not only they follow the authenticity of Vietnamese Pho taste, they also added their own spin in the Beef broth. Love the added aromatics and fattiness that enriches it so much more in depth.! Chicken Pho is very good as well, only if there were more fattiness like skin and chicken oil that would be more authentic, but this is UK so I understand. Don't bother ordering any starters cuz none of them were good.

We had the pleasure of dining at Mama Pho during a visit to the city, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the pho. The soup was rich, flavourful, and simply delicious – a perfect balance of savoury broth, tender noodles, and fresh herbs. It’s a gem that we’ll definitely visit again on future trips to London.
